Eye of Set

ID 30053

<LoreItalics>Under the caverned pyramids great Set coils asleep;</> <LoreItalics>Among the shadows of the tombs his dusky people creep.</> <LoreItalics>I speak the Word from the hidden gulfs that never knew the sun</> <LoreItalics>Send me a servant for my hate, oh scaled and shining One!</> - The Phoenix on the Sword This gem, and others like it, were once used by Priests of Set in their most sacred rituals. It is gravest heresy to discuss such rites, but they involved serpents, sacrifices and blood. This gem is said to be the eye of a real serpent, hardened to stone by the ritual, containing the wisdom and power of Set. One need only stare deeply into the stone to be mesmerized by the power of Set. Using this gem will teach the Set religion.
